FROM LISBON: 


HIRING A CAR: This could be the most practical way of transport to and from the airport, especially if you are with a group of 4/5 people. If you have a car for the week you can use it to drive to the beautiful local beaches, about 15 minutes from the site. 

BUS: You can take a bus (4 hours) all the way to São Teotónio, 10 minutes from Orada. The buses leave at 7:30 or 17:30 from Sete Rios bus station in Lisbon which can be accessed by metro. You can book here: www.rede­expressos . Once at São Teotónio you can take a taxi to Monte da Orada.

TRAIN: Alternatively you could get the train from Lisbon to Santa Clara Saboia (2 hours) leaving Lisbon at 10:30, 14:30 or 17:30 (Book here: www.cp.pt ). Then you would take a 30 minute taxi to the venue.

FROM FARO:

HIRING A CAR: This could be a practical and cost effective way of transport to and from the airport, especially if you are with a group of 4/5 people. If you have the car for the week you can use it to drive to the beautiful local beaches, about 15 minutes from the site. 

BUS: From Faro you can also take the bus to São Teotónio ( www.rede­expressos.pt ), only 10 minutes from the site. Then you would take a short taxi ride to Monte da Orada. 

 

TRAIN:  You can take a train from Faro to Santa Clara Saboia (1 hour)  ( www.cp.pt  ) From here it's a 30 minute taxi ride.
