Paul Rose is an NCFE Level 4 bushcraft and wilderness instructor. Getting involved in the outdoors from an early age and travelling for several years led Paul to having a great interest in the native skills & local knowledge of the people he stayed with. Upon his return and after many remote camping trips he enrolled on an instructors course as a means of improving his own knowledge and making life easier for himself when staying out in the wilderness. Paul now takes regular classes in the Forest of Dean for Forest Bushcraft and has a real passion for teaching others these long lost skills.

Over the course of the week we will touch on several skills to improve people knowledge of their surroundings, teach you a few techniques to make staying in the wilderness a more pleasurable experience as well as developing new skills which will come in handy round any camp fire. We hope to cover spoon carving & basic wood work over several days to end up with a finished usable spoon, natural cordage, shelter building, basic fire lighting skills and some simple camp fire cooking. All the above are weather permitting and subject to suitable resources being available.
